Ripple（リップル）社のRippleNet（リップルネット）に加盟するKuwait Finance House（クウェート・ファイナンス・ハウス）が、国際送金サービスを開始しました。

クウェート・ファイナンス・ハウスは2018年5月にRippleNetに加盟したクウェートのイスラム銀行です。
今回開始された国際送金サービス「Instant International Transfer」ではリップル社のシステムが活用されており、手数料無料で世界最大のイスラム銀行「Al Rajhi Bank」へ送金が行えるようになっているとのことです。
サービスは今後世界のさまざまな法定通貨にも対応するとしています。この取り組みによって、イスラム金融圏におけるリップル社のシステム活用がさらに活発になっていくことでしょう。
